This hostal it is a great choice when you visit Puerto Vallarta. It has the best location and the best price in Vallarta. It is close to everything. Just to 2 minutes from the beach and the Malecon. And it is very quiet and safe, I will come back soon.

Calling it a "room" is a stretch. No lock on the plastic-wrapped, non-closing "door". Walls patched together with plywood. No extra outlet to charge a phone (fan and light bulb occupied plug). No working window in room. Rickety bunks. Garbage on floor. No garbage receptacle. No sheets (except for bottom sheet) and stinky pillowcase. This was way overpriced for what it was -- a hovel.

I booked a night there for 14$cad the place looked pretty run down so I was expecting it to be cheap. When I got there on the front door it’s says beds for 9$usd when I showed my reservation the guy at the door he wanted 300 peso then change his mind and said it was actually 450 peso after he explained to me the other beds were 250 peso. Seems like a mess the kid running it was younger then me and spoke no English so that was complicating. if you don’t speak Spanish expect to get ripped off. I decided not to stay there because I wasn’t about to pay double what I was expecting for the quality of living conditions just remember this is Mexico.

All you need but very basic

A basic room with curtain into a smaller room with sink, toilet and shower, no window that opens but a fan to help ventilate and keep cool Ideal for a cheap couple of nights, the host was veg friendly and helpful allowing us to leave our back packs once we’d checked out

This place is the creepiest I ever stayed in. Also the black mold in the walls affected my lungs no door locks on the doors just a padlock with hooks some doors don't even have handles. Holes in walls and ceilings some rooms without windows or windows broken. I think conditions in jails are better. They may not sell quality and say that they have best price in town. Well trust me all even if they were paying you for staying there you would still want to refuse it. I would've shot a horror movie in that place and I wouldn't have had to change a thing. Perfect bunker look for kidnapped kids to sell in human trafficking or organs trafficking. It is THAT scary.

Esa noche llegué muy tarde , tuve que dormir ahí, al otro día salí corriendo, , pedí la devolución del dinero porque pagué en efectivo las cuatro noches antes de ver la habitación, el Sr de recepción no aceptó , me tuve que mudar dejando pagadas las cuatro noches, SIMPLEMENTE ASQUEROSO EL LUGAR, tomé fotografías , qué pena que expedía haga reservaciones de lugares como estos , una prisión. Debe ser mejor lugar que éste

Établissement catastrophique digne d’un squat. A l’arrivée la facture est différente de la réservation. Une honte pour hotels.com de référencé cela. L’impression que les chambres sont en fonction des touristes. Et la cuisine une catastrophe.
