We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Palladium Vallarta and would absolutely return. It was perfect for a family vacation. The beach and ocean swimming were excellent, and one of the highlights of our trip was seeing so many whales right from the resort. There was also a great variety of pools for the kids, which kept everyone happy. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay, and the food was amazing. We highly recommend upgrading to Family Selection — it was well worth it for our family. We ate most often at The Nest, which is available only to Family Selection guests, and it was a big part of what made our experience so enjoyable. Overall, this resort was a fantastic choice for a family getaway, and we would definitely recommend it to others.

Justo was helpful and welcoming from the minute we walked into the resort. Our bed was comfortable and the pool was great. However, service in restaurants was inconsistent and there were many days that the pool had no servers at all. First world problems but not what you would expect from a 4-5 Star resort.

The hotel may need some updates, but the location and the staff make it worth your stay! The food was better than some of the more expensive resorts that I have stayed at. Seeing whales from the infinity pool was more than I had hoped for. The beach is a little rough for swimming, but if you're brave, you can make it work. I recommend this resort if you're looking to get away from the concrete, it's lush and green and the sunsets can't be beat.

Everything was excellent! An absolutely stunning beach, very clean and spacious resort with excellent staff. The food and drinks were AMAZING! I read some reviews that said the food wasn’t good and I was nervous, but I was more than happy every single day. I feel anyone complaining is either in the 1% of incomes and frequents high end bougie places or they are people who are just never happy lol. 10/10 would recommend this for down to earth middle class people looking for an all around great resort experience.

Buffet food was amazing! Portfino & Bam Boo restaurant also amazing. Mexican restaurant was my least favourite. Resort was very clean. It’s placed on the side of a cliff, emerged within beautiful foliage and trees. If you have mobility issues, I wouldn’t suggest, simply because it’s alot of walking on slight inclines everywhere & many many stairs. The beach is excellent. Great for snorkelling & boogy boarding. The resort is far enough of out town that you don’t get swamped with locals constantly tying to sell you stuff all day on the beach. It’s about 30km out of PV. If you have an excursions planned, give yourself about a hour to get to town when it’s busy. This was our second time staying here and I would absolutely come back. It’s beautiful!

The whole place was spotless! This was the first time we stayed on the family selection side of this resort. The E-family host Josue was amazing.We were herewith our family(14 people) to celebrate our 50 th anniversary. The E-family host decorated our room while we’re out for a special dinner. We were so surprised when we returned to find the room filled with balloons and a congratulations banner!He also booked all of our suppers at the specialty restaurants and help alert staff to our allergies and special diet needs. The staff at the restaurants(especially the Nest) were wonderful and I felt so safe eating here.
