Had a wonderful stay at Don Bonito! The receptionist, Matty, is fantastic - cheerful, very helpful, and just all-around lovely. The hotel is nice and quiet, the cafe attached is very good, friendly staff, and the Rose Room yoga studio upstairs is the cherry on top. The hotel is beautifully decorated and always clean. Highly reccommen d Don Bonito, will be back!

I had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is quiet which makes for a peaceful stay, but close enough to town that it makes walking to restaurants convenient. Close to some hiking trails to the beach which was also nice!

Beautifully designed space in a quiet location. There is a lot of noise from the yoga class, and the sound proofing in the room is quite bad (woke up before sunrise by a rooster each morning). The pool is very nice but there is some pool equipment that is very loud and takes from the enjoyment. Also no coffee in the room and cafe was closed during our stay.

Amazing hotel with fantastic service!

My husband and I stayed overnight for a wedding in Sayulita, and this was an incredible hotel! The rooms were clean and hospitable and the service was over the top! They helped us book a golf cart, our taxi to and from the airport, whatever we needed! I highly recommend staying here. We would love to visit again!

We had a fantastic stay at Don Bonito while celebrating my birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience special, and their friendliness truly stood out. The hotel and common areas were impeccably clean, and the amenities were a pleasant surprise—especially the complimentary yoga class, which was an incredible experience. The included breakfast at the café was delicious, and the service there was just as warm and welcoming. The hotel’s location is also very convenient, just a short distance from the main town. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay at Don Bonito again when visiting Sayulita!

Property was nicely decorated and well maintained. Cafe with breakfast and to go items for purchase with friendly staff. Air conditioned rooms to come back to from the heat. Not a lot of foot traffic since it is a small hotel which suited us fine. Only improvements, I would say the pillows were quite hard which made it uncomfortable and the fact there is no lighting for the pool so we couldn't enjoy into the night as expected to cool off. Otherwise a good location for walking distance to the main part of town as well as access to the north beach which is more desolate.

The property is well located (away from town). There are two major recommendations: (1) please include outlets so you can charge your golf cart while you are at the hotel... this is very common in sayulita. (2) breakfast service is very slow, we had breakfast two days and we had to wait like 25 mins to get our cup of tea (both days).

Well I booked a "Master Suite", the room had no balcony per the pics, but worst of all the room had a free standing toilet, no door or ventilation to a bathroom ??? I could lay in bed a few feet away and enjoy the sounds and smells of my partners ablutions. What a lovely experience on holiday, paying $200 per night for a concrete box room that really tested the limits of my love for my partner. The pool and sitting area are tiny, almost always in shade, the angles of the property pics are very misleading, this is NOT an upscale property in any way. Not what you would expect in a "Master Suite". Very disappointed and will not return. On the plus side good hot water and quiet part of town.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable. The pool was so nice and so was the cafe at the property. It was easy and quick to walk to the town and restaurants, however because of the heat, we rented a golf cart which was super fun and got you into town quickly! Matty was so lovely and friendly the entire visit. We definitely recommend Don Bonito!

The hotel is even more beautiful in person! Staff is great, especially Matty, at the front desk. The room was always clean, and it includes a mini fridge, fresh water, and I believe breakfast and one yoga session within the Rose Room that is located on the terrace of the hotel. Also, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! The beach is within a 2 minute walk, and it is far enough from the town center that you avoid the noise of the nightlife, but are still close enough to the center by a short (7-10 minute) walk. Nearby places within walking distance from the hotel that are worth checking out: - Chaman Mexican Creative Kitchen - Le Camion (beach bar; take credit card) - La Olita Beach Bar
