Armando made our experience phenomenal he's a great asset to the Marriott family. My mom had hurt her knee and without hesitation helped her didn't have to be asked was very attentive. If it wasnt for Armando I'm not sure if our stay would have been as wonderful.

Very clean and close to the downtown area. We were able to walk just a couple of blocks to get to the downtown shops. Felt very safe walking around.

You get what you pay for
It is a cheap hotel, however that comes at a cost: it is very basic and it is quite noisy (you will hear everything that's happening in the hallways and on the floor above), plus staff could use some training to become far more client focused. That being said the beds are very comfortable and breakfast was nice. In my case I was more than willing to overcome the shortfalls in order to lower the price, so I have no complaints, but be sure to consider all aspects in light of your particular trip.

En las dos ocasiones anteriores qué me hospeje en el City Express Puebla Centro el servicio de recepción fue pésimo, pero esta ocasión estuvo muy bien.

El personal siempre fue muy amable, las amenidades ni se digan! Tuvimos agua fría para soportar el calor que había todos los días, el desayuno estaba increíble con buena variedad y las personas a cargo siempre estaban surtiendo constantemente. Esta muy bien ubicado, llegas caminando al centro y zócalo, te queda súper cerca todo lo emblemático del centro.

Everything was very good. Breakfast it was so wonderful. Love that they have fruit and some vegetables. Place is very clean easy access to the different places to visit.

Muy tardados en recepción. La habitacion q nos asignaron estaba junto a su almacen de toallas y el ruido q hacen se filtraba a nuestra habitacion por lo que fue imposible descansar por la noche y nos desperto muy temprano pornla misma situacion.

As a very frequent traveler, this hotel was below average for other hotels of similar type. The hotel did not have the room type that was purchased, but substituted a room that was only adequate. The breakfast on Saturday and Sunday was generic and the same meal both days. Scrambled eggs, bread, tortilla chips, and beans. The room itself was small and the shower nozzle was clogged, but I fixed it by rubbing sediment off the nozzle. Overall, there are many other hotels in the same area and with the same price. I would try a different hotel.

The hotel is in a good location and kept clean. It is up to date, with modern clean decor. However, the service is definitely lacking. Poor customer service!

Great property... Super friendly staff and the hotel is very good with nice breakfast and very modern proeprty. Area is easy to reach walking or to get public transport. Highly recommedanble for the breakfast buffet

Convenient and clean hotel near Centro historico
The City Express was a good option for sightseeing in the historical centre and was walking distance to churches and shopping areas. The location was quiet and there were good restaurants immediately in front. The rooms were comfortable and modern although a bit on the small side. The hotel had a free shuttle for short trips so that was convenient. The breakfast was ok but was served on paper plates, which made it less appealing. Staff was friendly and helpful.
