"Great! Perfect little getaway spot"

"Nice, little home for a quiet getaway. Close to several restaurants and the grocery store. The beds were comfortable with ample blankets. The kitchen was well supplied with the necessary cooking items. The heat/air worked well. There were dehumidifiers in each room which were appreciated to cut down on the humidity. The neighborhood is very quiet. We had a nice stay."

"Friendly check-in—professional. Room seemed to have been freshly painted. Typical loud air conditioner unit for room. Good towels! Reasonable beds; very clean & fresh bedding. Satellite TV. Exterior door to room needs new locks hardware to feel safer for room security. Hotel is quiet, in a uiet location. Exterior of hotel is run-down—an older property. Attached restaurant is closed/not operating—where to get a breakfast in town on a Sunday morning? Pool cover (inside the fence) seems like a permanent fixture. Driveway & parking lot full of potholes. Adjacent gas stations with convenience stores."

"This property is managed by a property management company. They were responsive to communications (and we appreciated that), but seem to have had no flexibility about anything outside policy. Written responses were all pro forma and impersonal.Checking in was a disaster. The door-lock mechanisms did not work and it took a long time late in the evening to contact the management. It was frustrating trying to resolve the locking/unlocking mechanism over the phone. I felt sorry for the agent, who did her best to resolve the matter with limited means and obviously not located anywhere near the unit, and was pretty upset myself. The unit (an apartment) was clean and comfortable, but it is located along the busy state road that runs through Baldwin. There was really nothing outside -- no lawn or seating area. It was basically a place to sleep.So, after resolving the entry issues, it was ok. Nothing bad; nothing special."
