"This was a lovely spacious family house and garden, in an amazing location, with the village and castle nearby. Perfect for a family group of all ages. The only issue was a lack of thorough cleaning in some rooms."

"Breakfast was served in the bar atea, and rather cramped. Food choice was reasonable. Didnt find the staff too welcoming or friendly. This pub has live entertainment so can be very noisy, if staying there. Rooms q cold, especially in the mornings when no central heating was on. There was a plug-in electric heater, however. "

"Stayed for my 50th birthday and there were 7 of us ranging from 47 to 87. The house is beautiful, very well stocked and beautifully presented. We loved every room and the owners thought of everything. We used the hot tub which was lovely also. Pub in the village does great food"
