"We had a fantastic stay at the rising sun, staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location with a stunning view, great amenities in the room and the option of the pub and restaurant downstairs! Would highly recommend."
"I wish we had had more time to enjoy the property amenities, but the room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Really a luxury experience after a long day hiking the Cotswold Way. We also highly recommend the restaurant, where we had a delicious dinner and a really lovely breakfast before leaving the next morning."
"Very comfortable property. Had all that you needed for a comfortable stay. The extras in the fridge (orange, bread, milk) were great along with the bits for tea and coffee. Great location. Would recommend."
"Really clean, modern facilities, with everything we needed for a one night stay. A lot of traffic noise from 5am onwards but to be expected being so central - another one of the perks! Overall great stay. "
"Everything was brand new, the hotel has been renovated to the highest standard, beautiful furnishings bedding and linen. I love all the monogrammed items. "

Stunning Grade II listed cottage on Vineyard Street in the heart of Winchcombe.
10/10 Excellent
"Winchcombe is a beautiful small town. There is much to see and do without leaving the town. There are several great pubs and restaurants although our personal favourites were the Lion Inn and the Indian Restaurant (5 stars to both). The ‘Feathered Nest’ is a very comfortable and well equipped cottage. It was pleasantly cool during some very warm weather. The original accommodation is typical of many rural English cottages. The modern extension and renovation of the building adds a welcome contemporary feel to the building. A thoroughly enjoyable stay!"
Dove Cottage beautifully restored Tudor cottage sleeps 6 or 7
10/10 Excellent
"We REALLY enjoyed our visit to Winchcombe, and staying at the Dove Cottage was a highlight. It is exactly as advertised, with flexible accommodations, a central location, and responsive, friendly hosts. We would stay here again without hesitation. Upon your arrival, we highly recommend a pint of real ale in the back garden of the Lion Inn, just two minutes away. Dinner there, and at the local Indian place, was great too."
"Property nice and small for up to 2 people, and is on the High Street - not far from the Coop, Sudely Castle, bus route, Cotswold Way, and various other activities - quiet location - compact and had everything you needed - great for self catering. I was there for the walking festival and not far from the meeting point of the village hall for all of the 3 days of walking"
Old Laundry - a sudeley castle cottage that sleeps 12 guests in 6 bedrooms
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful weekend break at Old Laundry. The house was really spacious and easily accommodated our group of 11 without ever feeling like we were on top of each other. The house, grounds, bedrooms etc were all excellently appointed. Lovely views from the back garden/ hot tub. Separate dining room was fantastic addition so we hired a local private chef. Bedrooms nicely spread out around the house into 3 "wings" which provided some additional privacy. Lovely touches added such as toiletries in the bathrooms, lots of towels etc. I really can't fault it. I do think the fridge could do with being bigger or a second one added. We managed with it for the weekend but would have struggled if staying longer. Many thanks for a brilliant stay! "
