We were grateful to have the opportunity to experience Obidos at its quietest; and thankful the church bells do no begin ringing until 9 am. :) The beds were very comfortable and the cottage is very well appointed. "Lots of room for 6. Split levels break up living/ sleeping. There’s a SMART TV for Netflix/Prime. Wi-fi good. As the first rental of the year we some issues but Bo and David who live nearby fixed them as they arose and had a nice card and bottle of wine on arrival and a good guide and website for info. "Sao Martinho is a jewel of a town and this place is close walking distance to everything. When the sun’s out, you couldn’t ask for a better place. Great yard with parking. Since it rained quite a bit during our stay, it dampened our visit. Again, we went during the off-season. Scott is very attentive and accommodating. Will go back to this place."

"Quiet and peaceful with plenty of room for our family time in north central Portugal. Beautiful Nazare harbor views - hear the waves crashing on the beach each morn. It is not in town so you will need a car to explore entire Nazare, but then again you probably have one to get here. Owner was very responsive to messages and we really had no issues."

"We had a most wonderful few days staying in this lovely apartment. The hosts were so helpful and the location perfect - quiet and relaxing spot. Having bikes available made it even better - we didn't have a car so it was useful to have them for exploring and shopping. We would definitely come again!"

"The apartment is located in a great spot right next to the best bakery in town and a great scenic overlook. There are lots of fun board games in the loft which was wonderful for our kids. The very friendly and helpful host made our experience even more pleasant. Peniche is an awesome town and this was a beautifully renovated home with a nice patio. We highly recommend this place!"

"Hello, this is the first time I came with my son to this hotel, is really nice if you are looking for some peaceful days. Hotel is general is okay, the decoration is very simple, we like our room. If you don't drive like me it can be hard at some point because you will have to stay around the hotel, or order a taxi but it can be expensive. I do recommend to visit 2 beaches they are very close, few minutes walking. Also try the inside pool, my son love it! Lovely breakfast 😋 Well it worth a try definitely."
