"The location is great - walking distance to surf and restaurants, the space in the room we stayed in was good and had a private balcony and the common areas were generally clean. A couple of strange things - for somewhere that is a "shared house"/hostel type the people who work/"hosts" were very unfriendly, there were 2 females who wouldn't even acknowledge us during our stay (walking into the kitchen and wouldn't even make eye contact or make conversation - mind you I commented on their food...

"Terrific hotel, right in the center of Obidos! Staff was wonderful and helpful and you are a short walk to the center of the castle in the old town. The view from our room was the spectacular site of the castle walls lit up at night and a church off to the right! Buffet breakfast was large and plentiful. The evening reception was very nice as well. The hotel itself is like a mini museum. We enjoyed walking around and looking in all the nooks and crannies. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the pool as a cold snap came in the days we were there but it looked wonderful. Key bonus was the indoor parking!!!"

"The moment we stepped onto the property, we felt like we were staying in a 5-Star resort. The location is breathtaking, and we enjoyed how close the three golf courses we played were. The views are nothing less than amazing. The free parking was another bonus since we rented a car, which allowed us to explore the area off the resort. All the restaurants had nice selections of food, and the buffet each morning was well prepared, with breads and meats. etc. We plan to return next year."

"The property was exactly as described. The apartment wasn't big, but had everything needed for two people. The location was hard to beat, a few metres from the beach. Our favourite place was the rooftop terrace - a great place to chill in the evening with a drink and watch the ocean. The host, Joao, was very helpful. There is a parking area at the back, but a couple of times it was full during the day (as it seemed random beach-goers would use it too). Overall, we had a great time."
