Very nice 5-star golf resort! Excellent for golfing and hiking. Very quiet and safe. Good place for retreats!

Rooms are spacious and well decorated, beds comfortable, towels large. Overall the hotel is very good but lost a star for me as they only clean the rooms every 3 days! We were staying only 4 days so not much point. When the cleaning finally happened, it was disappointing: rubbish bins were not emptied, bed linen not changed, kitchen area was not cleaned and amenities (shower gel,etc) not replaced.

It must be something about Portugal it the hot water was not on and there were ants. The spa did not answer when we tried to book a massage. Could be low season. The property and golf course are amazing. The best was the dinner absolutely delicious !
