"Absolutely loved the hotel. Had a loto hiccup with the room but the hotel did a great job remedying the issue and all of the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend and I have stayed at a ton of hotels and the staff at the Grand were probably some of the best I have encountered."

"The hotel was very good very clean and suitably situated for our weekend. Breakfast was excellent! The only bad point was that the swimming pool was closed all weekend and on the hottest weekend of the year and with 2 children it was a major issue! We would’ve stayed at a different hotel with a pool if we knew, the hotel should’ve emailed me before we got there to say but nothing was mentioned until I’d paid for our stay!"

"Great traditional hotel perfect for a local running event. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely evening meal at the on site restaurant (recommend the passion fruit posset) and the hotel kindly let me have an early breakfast. Only a couple of minor issues with road noise and light coming in from the side of curtain but this is just an observation - I am a light sleeper - and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
