"Waterslide and pool was great. Was able to check in early, which was perfect. Breakfast at Eastside Mario’s was a bit ridiculous. Can’t believe I had to pay $12.99 for a kids meal which consisted of a bowl with a container of yogurt you would buy at the grocery store in a pack of 4 (like didn’t even take it out of the container, lol) and pineapple and melon for fruit, which looked like it was from a fruit tray. In all the hotels I’ve ever stayed at I’ve never seen such a thing. Felt like a prank. Should maybe provide a discount on the restaurant for all guests, no matter how it was booked. Especially if that’s the only food option."

"The staff were friendly. The rooms were kept in excellent shape. Parking in the lower level with easy access. The pool was in the lower level with wonderful warm water and hot tub. A nice restaurant and bar. Many sitting areas and a coffee/ ice cream/ snack bar. The bonus is a 5 minute walk to downtown shops and bars and Harbour."

"I loved the old quirks of the building. That made stay extra fun. They had in room a/c even though it wasn’t super warm while we visiting. They communicated quick via a phone and through email. Check in is done through emailed instructions which was quick and painless. We were on the 4th floor so we were quick to learn to bring what we needed or we were doing stairs a lot. The Food at Magnum and Stein was fantastic and we had great conversations with owner Bernie about every topic under the sun. Terrific hospitality we felt so welcome. Be patient with the hot water, it takes a minute to warm up. We had a great time on our first visit. It was close to everything down to Water and George Street, or up to Jelly Bean Row or the Rooms Museum. And then all the nearby pubs. We had an absolute blast! Thanks All, Glen and Rosemarie"
