The best view on the Magnetawan River! Rustic cottage with all amenities!
10/10 Excellent
"Gorgeous & Quiet river! Lots of fish (daughter was happy to catch walleye, rock, small & large mouth bass). Worms worked best but lures worked too. Loved the canoes & swimming right off of dock. Host went above and beyond by leaving a smore’s kit and firewood. Communication and ease was excellent. Neighbours are close but tree covered and didn’t hear them at all. The room was quite small & bathroom was through the bedroom- that was only slight inconvenience as we brought a toddler cot for the floor to keep her quiet with early bedtime- but there was no space in the bedroom so she slept in the living room. Still it was a great trip, we went to screaming heads, and several local beaches & playgrounds. Ice cream in town was great too! We would go back. "

"Beautiful very clean cabin with amazing view- boat access was amazing very private . Very accommodating service for first timers! Kids loved the fishing and swimming right off the dock 5 stars!"
"The room is very clean. It was nice to have a full kitchen with full-size fridge and full-size stove. There was also a kitchen table and four chairs. The air conditioner works great! The owner was very nice."
Beautiful waterfront home minutes to Port Loring-family friendly, smoke/pet free
10/10 Excellent
"My family (me, my mom, and uncle) had a wonderful time at Tim's cottage--and he was a kind and helpful host! It's spacious, modern, and on a beautiful spot on the lake close to town (but still really quiet). The kitchen is well-appointed (it even has an air fryer!), too, which we really appreciated. I would definitely rent this cottage again--I wish I was still there now, in fact! (Bring bug spray, and water shoes if you plan on walking straight into the lake--it's a little mushy/rocky). "
"We recently stayed in this cottage. We like it very much.Very clean and peaceful place.Owner though to include everything that you may need to make your staying amazing: including soap, ice maker, BBQ tools, fishing equipment, blankets, comforts, kitchen rolls, toilet paper, detergent, games for the whole family, etc.Kayaks are in very good shape, views from kayaks are incredible. Kayaking is extremely recommended for the whole family.Beds were confortable too.One quickly reminder: there is not a microwave, radio or TV. Not ESSO, Pioneer or Shell gas station near the cottage. Fill tank if you plan to do short trips with the family. Many mosquitos and other insects in the area, do not forget bring mosquito repellent. We definitely want to come back."
