This was a lovely stay. The rooms are clean and have everything that you need. As a road tripper, I appreciated having a fridge and freezer in the room. The owners were very kind.
Very enjoyable stay. The diner next door had amazing food and super convenient. The room was very clean. I would definitely recommend this motel. We visited Restoule Provincial Park for the day too. Only 45 min drive. Also Jake's restaurant for breakfast was really good too and only a min drive from motel.
The room is very clean. It was nice to have a full kitchen with full-size fridge and full-size stove. There was also a kitchen table and four chairs. The air conditioner works great! The owner was very nice.
The room was clean and well equipped except if there was supposed to be coffee in the little jar it was empty. It didn't matter as we were leaving early. I liked the county setting.
We needed a practical, clean and reliable place to stay while our son was staying at a cottage for the long weekend with his friends as it was quite a ways from home. We were his ride, so needed to be relatively close as the drive was extremely long. We also had our large dog with us. With the area being somewhat remote, there wasn’t a lot of places in that area. We found the Northland Motel online and it checked all of the boxes. Communication was great and responsive. Check-in was seamless. We were greeted warmly by who we think is the owner. The rooms are very spacious 2 queen beds, a futon couch, a dining table with 4 chairs, a kitchenette with 3/4 fridge and oven. While the motel is older, and there is evidence of that, it adds to the charm and it is obvious that someone cares about it. The room was clean and well-appointed. The linens and towels were all new and fresh. There was wifi onsite and no issues. The room has a modern television and cable. There is a diner at the front of the driveway in and service there was friendly and fast. They weren’t open for breakfast, so we made good use of the kitchen and coffee maker. It was quiet there even though the rooms seemed to be fully booked. It was a good hub for some road trips (Manitoulin, North Bay, Powassan, Nippising, French River).
