"We planned to stay here and paid extra for a nice place on the beach. We thought with the upfront payment for the hotel stay, the Marriott would take care of us but we were wrong. The beach crew nickle and dimed us for an umbrella and other items. Staff in the beach hut seemed annoyed at helping us. The restaurants on site were also very expensive. We paid more for food than we did for the hotel. The room and hotel were very well maintained, gym was great, pools and splashed were great for the kids. Beach was one of the best. Just disappointed at all the extra cost we accrued while staying here."
