"Although the place is old it is currently been renovated. Receptionist was lovely and made us feel welcome and was very helpful. The room we had book was lovely although we had to swap as I was unable to flush the toilet. The room we stayed in was old but clean but as they were fully book was the only room available. Unfortunately house staff did not realise this and walked into our room unannounced well we were getting ready for a function we were attending. Unsure why as room had already been serviced."
