"The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable overall, but it did have a noticeable bleach smell when we arrived. Unfortunately, not all of the windows were able to open, which made it difficult to air out the room and bring in some fresh air. Having better ventilation would have made our stay more comfortable."

"The host was very kind and helpful! We looked at our initial room and felt that it was much smaller and not as nice as the pictures. He offered us a bigger room but it was still pretty dated and didnt look like photos online. We were going to ask for a refund since it was our first anniversary but he showed us a remodel room that was as nice as the photos for the same price. After the initial disappointment he went above and beyond to please us. With flowers, a bottle of wine and a fruit and cheese plate. We would stay here again if we could get the nicer room. Thank you for helping us make our special day what we hoped for."

"We loved our stay here!! What wasn't fully clear from the listing was how close and accessible the beach was - a short walk down the driveway and across the street to an easily walkable, long beach boardwalk that leads down to the rocks and open sandy shore in places. We saw sea otters playing in the water every evening. Thanks for the binoculars! There was so much to love about this place - quiet, private location, central to many places of interest, large space to spread out,"

"Okay. The property is excellent, located in a very nice neighborhood, and the beach is super close to the hotel. The room was very clean and new, and the parking was very good, a little small but fine. Breakfast is to go. I think it's okay for me; I'm celiac, so it's just bread and bread, haha. But they have yogurt and fruit, so that's fine for me. I don't remember if they have pancakes. Anyway, I think the problem is the staff. The person is staring at you all the time, haha, like you're a thief. Breakfast is served in the lobby, so you can get coffee there all the time, but I don't think she approves. Would I want to return to the hotel? No, the hotel itself is fine, but the staff is not"
