"We had such a wonderful stay! The room was very clean. We were traveling with our large dog, room was a good size and fit her large crate comfortably. Would definitely stay again! Location is great, neighborhood seemed safe to walk our dog. Parking was easy, right in front of your room. Staff were all friendly and welcoming."

"Property was great and very welcoming. Check in was easy, room updated and clean. Walking distance to beach, shoreline trail and lighthouse. It was a quick drive to downtown with lots of options for lunch and dinner. Pacific Grove was a great location for a drive to Carmel, Monterey and 17 Mile drive nearby."

What wasn't fully clear from the listing was how close and accessible the beach was - a short walk down the driveway and across the street to an easily walkable, long beach boardwalk that leads down to the rocks and open sandy shore in places. We saw sea otters playing in the water every evening. Thanks for the binoculars! There was so much to love about this place - quiet, private location, central to many places of interest, large space to spread out,"
