"Perfect for large families. The kids had many options for games and activities downstairs. The grownups could have quiet time on the main level. Beautiful setting and great lake access. The only thing to consider is that the nearest real grocery stores are 20-25 minutes away. And make sure you realize you are on the private side of the lake if you rent a boat."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our family get together at this lake property! Below is a detailed review…Cleanliness: the house was extremely clean and you could tell it had been professionally clean very thoroughly. The property was also maintained very well, including the dock and walkway down to the waterfront. I’m extremely particular when it comes to cleanliness and this met my expectations.Communication: the host was extremely communicative throughout our entire stay! I reached out for one or two questions and had a response within 10 minutes tops! All the instructions for getting in and checking out of the house were also very clear.Location: we loved the private lake and felt like the location was wonderful on the lake! There was not a lot of boats at all, and we felt that our kids were safe tubing, kayaking, and boating Due to the minimal lake traffic. Be advised that there is not a lot of restaurant and grocery store options nearby, so plan accordingly. One night we planned to go out to dinner, but ended up changing plans due to the 25 minute drive. If you enjoy cooking in and grilling without ordering in or going out, the location will be great! We planned to have some groceries delivered via instacart which wasn’t an issue at all. House details: the bedrooms were all very spacious with ample closet space. We found the covered porch to be really enjoyable looking out at the water. The walk down to the lake on the paved path was easy, even for elderly parents."

"My family and I had a great time at this house! It was very family friendly with high chairs for the littlest to bunk beds and a game room for the older kids. The lake access was ideal and communication with the host was seamless. Would love to return in the future!"

"This was our 2nd time staying at this property. The view of the lake is great and easy access to the lake. We had a great time there and really enjoyed all the space we had for our family. We spent a lot of time at the boat house, it was fun. The Host was very accommodating and responded quickly to our emails."

"Our family had a great vacation at Serenity Cove. The house easily accommodated 8 adults and 5 children with each bedroom having its own bathroom. The house is beautiful, clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed. The view of the lake from the porch was stunning. Most of our time was spent in the very large boathouse with enough space and seating for everyone and plenty of shade. The location on the cove made it safe for the kids to kayak, paddle board and swim and was away from a lot of boat traffic. There were plenty of life vests available. There was a storm one night and power was lost, but the house has a generator that kicked in right away. Our family has vacationed at Lake Anna several times and everyone agreed they loved this house and would want to return to it. Thank you Megan and Dan."
