8.2/10 Very good! (890 reviews)
The property has an amazing beach. There were days the seaweed was worse but the resort has a block so it wasn’t usually bad directly in front of ours. The altitude where we stayed was decent. I would not say a true gold member status though. Was clean enough. Small rooms. Double beds so small for two people. The buffet was not great probably the worst buffet I’ve ever had. Not many options for breakfast lunch or dinner. It wasn’t too or fresh either. Hardly any fruit. The à la carts were pretty good. The grill which you would think has steak, didn’t it had a meat platter with a thin rubber steak. So gross. Or you could pay 80$ extra for a steak or 130$ for a lobster. The risotto has steak and it was good! The Asian restaurant was good. The annoying this is this resort has like almost non existent entertainment. Did bingo one night. Kareoke one night that wouldn’t work so we didn’t get it. No shows or performances at all. So the night life for family really sucks. Only bars in that area for entertainment. The pools were ok. The one big pool they would try to play volleyball but it’s like 5.5 ft deep so maybe only bigger adults could play. It was summer so maybe slow season but the service was decent but the servers ran their butts off. I wanted gold member but that really got you nothing but the altitude room. A breakfast buffet to our altitude unit but really is was just as good as the other buffet. A infinity pool but has poor poor service. Not true gold member service.
