Charming garden level 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment in Brockton

"I stayed in this basement apartment recently and had a relatively good experience. Overall, I felt safe during my stay and the location met my needs. Communication with the host through the app was also easy. That being said, there are a couple of items to note. The family upstairs is very active, and because the walls/ceilings are thin, you can hear a lot of movement and noise. I also found that the cleaning hadn't been fully completed before my arrival (trash in receptacles and rags left out). The entryway is a bit unconventional through a narrow stairwell in the carport, so that's something to keep in mind if you have larger luggage or mobility limitations. The apartment is also situated next to the laundry room, so you get a bit of noise off of that as well. While I felt safe and the stay served its purpose, a deeper clean and some awareness of the noise levels would go a long way for future guests."

"We enjoyed this cozy place. It was nicely stocked with our needed coffee needs. The kitchen was also stocked with utensils. A great place for the two of us to stay while visiting family and friends! We relaxed her at the end of the day before turning in. Very relaxing."

"Perfect location for our trip. Wonderful place, so quiet. Spotless. They have chickens nearby, but you rarely hear them - we actually enjoyed when we did. The hosts had great communication which was important to us. 10/10 for us.Larry"

Unique Scituate Vacation Rental on Herring River!

"The property is nice, but easy to miss off the highway. The drop off from the highway could damage a smaller car, so I recommend a sturdy sedan or SUV, as the road is gravel and unpaved to home. The property had spider/other insect issues, as it is approaching summer. There are some floorboards coming up in the kitchen/family room area. Also, many of the blinds will not stay closed and are in need of repair. Finally, the upstairs bathroom has a pocket door that will not lock and slides open because it cannot lock. Plan for 1 bathroom because of that issue. As for the rest of the home, it is very quiet inside, but you can hear cars on the highway next to the property. The ability to cook and not have the hustle and bustle of a hotel room was the main reason we picked this home; on that score, it delivered. If the owner fixes the small things noted here (also noted in the guest register book on property), it would be perfect. We never used the screened in patio or yard in our time, so I can't speak to its usefulness."

"Pros:Good Size house. Cons: The back yard had dog poop all through it which we had to clean up so we could actually utilize the space, the dryer had dog hair, human hair and dust all through it so we had to clean that so we could use it as well. Additionally there was some sort of human fluid on the pillows in the one room which was rather disgusting. The host was not responsive or just didn’t seem to care about those issues. Pretty disappointed overall. "
