Hotel was beautiful, clean and everyone was so friendly. My husband stayed at a Tru Hotel in Texas and loved it and that is why he booked it for me, he knew I would love it as well.
The entire staff is amazing. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Clean, quiet, great location. Friendly and considerate staff. Comfortable and spacious common areas. Enjoyed the pool, the pool table, and the table games.
The hotel is brand new. The physicalities are great, clean rooms, nice pool, friendly staff and the free breakfast was excellent. Thank you for a great visit.
We were greeted by 2 very nice young women & made to feel welcomed as soon as we walked (windblown) in the door. The room was clean and I felt very safe. I enjoy staying at Tru. The lobby is filled with welcoming & fun sitting arrangements & games. It’s a nice change from traditional hotels.
The breakfast buffet needed some attention. There were crusty bits of eggs left and there was still an hour left for breakfast no one check on it. The trash barrel was overflowing, no tea bags and the coffee was barely warm. As far as the room it was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the sheets were pilled and very thin. Water pressure could have been stronger. There were plenty of towels, shampoo and conditioner. Lastly the was a strong odor of marijuana in the hallways.
We got to stay at this hotel on opening day which was pretty cool to sleep on a new bed. Of course, this hotel was clean and in great condition since it was brand new. The disappointing part was that this hotels name should be changed to Hotel IKEA. The room was VERY small.. we had no room to place our large suitcase, ridiculous. We had to place it near the head of the bed on the floor which means one of us could not get out of bed and atually step on the floor. The room had this unusable desk, why. There is no way to place an open laptop and use a mouse, ugh. The shower in the bathroom had a shower stall only; however, no handle to close the door, what?? Yep, no shower door to close it unless you are tall enough to grab the top of the door and close it. Then as you showered the water flowed onto the floor so be sure you have a bathmat placed strategically next to shower to catch the water. Of course, the hotel did not train staff appropriately for breakfast service so the new pancake maker didn't work, the staff didn't check food so eggs and sausage ran out and then the coffee. We travel a lot so have lots of experience to go off of. Nice hotel but way too small for 2 regular folks to stay in comfortably. Another example, try walking past the bed and TV...no way too small. If I travel alone I would stay here otherwise if there are 2 of us, we won't.
Arrived late. Tv didn’t work, bathroom doors didn’t stay shut, water pressure in the shower was just dripping, one staff tried to fix the TV but couldn’t, another staff gave us a hard time about fixing the tv. Next day moved rooms and bathroom doors didn’t stay still didn’t stay shut.
