Hotel with steps
The Hotel Primavera is a lovely Italian building ideally situated near the centre of Pisa, and within a few hundred yards of the cathedral and leaning tower. I am a wheelchair user and I booked an accessible bathroom. The bathroom was indeed accessible, but not the hotel itself. The staff did not seem to understand that 'accessible' meant accessible for a wheelchair. Although the staff were very friendly and willing to give me every assistance, it meant that every day I had to crawl on the floor to get into and out of the hotel. It also meant that breakfast was not available to me, nor reception.

Brilliant stay
Really great hotel in a great location, the tower is a 10 minute walk up the road and the main high street is a 10 minute walk aswell. The staff where super friendly and helpful if i needed anything. My room was perfectly clean and got cleaned everyday, the bed was good and although the shower took a while to get going it was more than enough. Id definitely book this hotel again if i can to Pisa again. As a solo traveller i think this hotel is near perfect!

Great experience and last minute rescue
Last minute reservation to cover for a bad experience with a different booking on (Agouda). We arrived within 20 minutes of making the reservation and the hotel had not yet received the booking number. I had the confirmation on my lap to. After a few minutes of waiting we were allowed to register and get our key even though the booking had not yet arrived. "It will arrive" was the comment made by the front desk. The hotel is older with lots of charm. We are 3 in a room and were comfortable. Internet was good and service was great. We could not find an open store to buy water since it was late and the receptionist gave us a large bottle of cold water free of charge from their small bar. Breakfast was included and consisted of croissants, rolls, butter and jellies with coffee made to order and served at our cloth-covered table. The tower of Pisa is 4oo meters down the street and we walked to it the next morning. WE are given permission to leave our vehicle parked directly infant of the hotel (free) as long as it took us to sight-see, even after checking out. We returned 2 hours later and we used the wifi for an hour in the lounge, after check-out. We are very happy with the courtesy and consideration shown to us by staff.

I think most of the hotels in Pisa are about the same!!! A bit run down but clean and friendly! Don’t bother with the breakfast!!!

STAY AWAY !!
Location was to far to walk from Train Station but perfect for the Tower etc. What is shown for Room is NOT WHAT YOU GET. Was put up across the street. The so called internet is only in lobby and is Grade "A" crap there too. Not worth the $$ in any way ! STAY AWAY .. I was there for 1 night only and am so thankful. I left as soon as possible and hung out at Train Station..

Breakfast is very basic. You’ll get what you paid for. There is a nice Chinese restaurant nearby about 12 minutes walk. Bus stop is 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Taxi ride to Pisa airport is 13 Euro . We stayed overnight only.

Not A Place I Can Recommend
I don't like to leave a bad review but the room felt more like a hostel. The comforters are white and you could see visible stains and dirty marks on them. One of our sheets had something on it. It has parking and is close to Pisa but would recommend another place if you are staying with your family.

Close to Leaning Tower
Stayed with my family while touring Pisa. The hotel is a few blocks from the Duomo and Leaning Tower. Villa converted to a hotel. AC works well. Parking on site is tight if you have a full sized car, but doable. Great location, friendly staff.

Basic hotel in good location
We chose this hotel for an overnight stop in order to catch an early flight. It's in a good location, 10 minute drive to airport and a ten minute walk to the tower. The hotel itself is a little dated but ok for a brief stay. If I was staying long term I'd be looking for something with a pool. The on site parking is really useful too. Check in was quick, the air con worked great and the night porter really helped us out when our room key snapped in the lock leaving all our things locked inside the room. We had visions of missing our early flight but he was very helpful in Resolving the situation.

As advertised. Great for one night but no more. Room was adequate but small for family of four. Typical for Europe. 5 minute walk to sights. Very convenient. We slept through breakfast due to jet lag. Excellent coffee. Very friendly staff.

Low price but you get what you pay for
Good location, free parking, free continental breakfast, good place to sit outside in evening, good price Does not feel very clean, needs paint and new carpets, old and outdated, very smelly bathroom, too small room for 4 people, can't access free WiFi from room, staff not rude but also not welcoming - felt kind of cold and transient. OK if you're looking for one affordable night to see tower but wouldn't stay any longer.

It is close to Pissa tower
It takes only 5 minutes walking to get to Pissa tower. The hotel has a great location and is near of everything. You can find nice restaurants and convenient stores. The rooms are small but great for families. For the price is a good deal.

Hotel was very close to Pisa, but hard to find the first time. Staff was helpful and friendly, but the shuttle service was more expensive than indicated. Nothing nearby is open after 8pm making dinner a very difficult experience.

Handy for town
Nice family run feel to this hotel with very friendly staff. Handy for the town and with a (small) car park at the rear too. We were in the "apartment" at the back so plenty of room but it had a "Costa Del Sol apartment" feel to it. Was fine for our 1 night stay though.

Great little hotel
This hotel is very convenient for the airport - 10 minutes away, maximum, by taxi, and arriving as we did late at night, probably even less. Set back from a busy street, but quiet inside, the hotel has two parts - a main building, and a smaller set of rooms opposite. When we stayed, I think we were probably the only people in the 'satellite' space, which meant it was very quiet. In the morning, we walked to the Piazza dei Miracoli for the Duomo & Leaning Tower, and again, that took no more than 10 minutes.

A gem!
I loved this hotel! I only got to spend 1 night there as I was on a bit of a rush from Cinque Terre to Tuscany. The location was great, a 10 minute walk to Piazza del Duomo/Miracoli in one direction or to the beautiful river Arno in the other. I was travelling along so booked a single room. The room wasn't enormous but spacious enough. The bathroom was the same size as the room itself and well fitted out. No aircon but the shutters keep the worst of the summer heat out. The hotel is a grand old 19th century town house with high ceilings and pretty molding. The breakfast room is in the former reception rooms at the front of the hotel, really beautiful. A simple breakfast was offered. Since I arrived by car I was very pleased to be able to park in the main driveway. The father and son who own and run the hotel are very friendly and speak a decent amount of English which helped, given my lack of Italian and even informed me that the Palio was occurring in Siena on the morning of my departure, for which I'm very grateful!

Front desk manager would not allow air conditioner on if we were not in room. After a long day of sightseeing, it took over one hour to cool the room off.

Hotel Primavera was a nice hotel for our short stay in Pisa. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the leaning tower, cathedral, and baptistry. The room was comfortable, clean, and the staff was very accommodating. The breakfast was our only disappointment. I know Italian breakfasts at hotels are never great but this was the worst. It wasn't the quality that was bad, but the lack of food available. Only croissants and coffee. Other than that, this was a nice place to stay and I recommend it.

Checking in late, the hotel staff was beyond what you could or would expect from the looks, the younger man went above and beyond to make sure we were parked in the right spot so we wouldn't get a ticket (because you have to leave your keys with them if you park in their driveway) which we didn't want to do. Signor Miguel was expectionally charasmatic and took special care to check for a place to eat at 10:30pm and even reserved a table for 5, which brings me on to my next point. We had to book through expedia as four people 2 adults 2 kids, even though we had three kids just because expedia doesn't allow you to book a room with that many people. Which they were very understanding and didn't charge us an extra room fee but only €8 for breakfast for an extra person, which was typical italian style crossiaints and toast jam Nutella, etc. I would recommend. Also even after we checked out they allowed to stay in their parking area free of charge! Grazie Mille!

Surprised it's only 2 stars.
This hotel is remarkable. I found it very strange why it's not a 3 star hotel. Triple room is massive and very reasonably priced, with excellent facilities in a room including basic cutlery and fridge, but shower and TV are a bit small. The fridge had a strange smell inside, probably because it's quite old. Staff are very-very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is also very good with fresh croissants and freshly made coffees to order - all included in the price. Overall very happy with our stay!

Great Location and feel
We are a family of 5 and we stayed at this hotel on our trip to Pisa for one night. It is a family owned small villa type of hotel and still has those old fashioned keys for the room. They did have 5 beds setup in our room in advance (One king bed, two full size and one rollaway). The bedding was very comfortable. The room temprature was adjustable and was fine. Only issue was the bathroom. The shower area was extremely small. It was hard for a medium built person to fit in the stall. Also, there was no hair dryer. Perhaps we could ask for it at the reception just like we had to ask for the AC remote etc., We had a large van so the receptionist pointed us on the street where to park infront of the hotel as the van would not fit inside the hotel's small parking lot. Overall we had a good night sleep. The breakfast was adequate with croissants and dried bread slices and plenty of jam, honey and butter. Juice and Tea. Overall it was satisfying although no hot food was available. The father and daughter at the recption (owner) were extremely polite and accomodating. We were able to leave our luggage in the car and leave the car at the spot and walk to Pisa for sightseeing while they kep an eye on our car. The location is just great for visiting the Pisa. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

Great Location
Great hotel and in a great location too, less than 10 minutes walk from the leaning tower. It was advertised as having free wi-fi which it does have but not in the secondary building across the road where we were located. There is car parking but it is very limited and the space is very tight. The complimentary breakfast is bread, pastry and coffee, no fruit juice or frills but excellent quality, served in pleasant surroundings. All in all, a great hotel and an excellent price for being in the city centre.

The leaning tower was 7 minutes walk away along a safe and pleasant street. The hotel staff were neutral, not welcoming or unwelcoming. The hotel was tired. It once may have been painted and sparkling but now it is sad. Our room, booked months before was at the top of the building with no airconditioning that worked and a vent in the roof that remained open when propped up with my shoes. The breakfast was pleasant in a table for two ( for 4 of us) my wife was not given the table for 4 because there were only 2 present when she came to breakfast and asked. The Hotel was perfectly located but seemed to have forgotten that this is a service industry and a welcoming smile is worth a great deal.
