"A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous."

"After 1300hrs on a Sunday, check-in is bua a machine in a lobby off the car park, I met staff who were on their wst out and they were helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable, clean but basic. The price paid seems fair. Breakfast is an additional €14.90, the selection was very good and food quality is excellent. "
