"We had a very pleasant stay - one night after a late flight into DUS. The room was ready with a cotbed set up as requested, and even a little surprise for our child. The room was quiet (given it's right next to the runway) and the hotel was very clean and functional. Breakfast had a nice selection, and we also used the pool, which is on the first floor and has a lot of natural light. "

Was quoted an extremely generous rate and was cringing after learning it was right by a major tourist hub (Checkpoint Charlie) but between the charming hostess who welcomed me; the spacious and immaculate room (with excellent TV selection) and convenient location, this (and probably Select hotels generally) is a keeper. If I had any quibble, it would be the lack of wake up calls on offer…the first two nights I literally slept through my phone’s alarm, the bed was so comfortable."
