"Wir haben drei wundervolle Nächte in diesem gemütlichen, Haus mitten im Wald verbracht. Die Sauna war unser absolutes Highlight – ideal zum Entspannen bei wechselhaftem Wetter. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, wir fühlten uns bei Sonne, Wind und Regen rundum wohl. Eine Außendusche zum Abkühlen nach der Sauna wäre noch das i-Tüpfelchen gewesen. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an den aufmerksamen Gastgeber – wir kommen gerne wieder!"

Die Wohnung mit Wohnzimmer, Essbereich, Küche, Schlafzimmer (Doppelbett) und Badezimmer liegt in der 1. Etage, das zusätzliche zweite Schlafzimmer (Einzelbett) ist in der 2. Etage und verfügt über ein weiteres Bad mit WC und Dusche, was wir sehr praktisch fanden. In die 2. Etage führt eine relativ schmale Treppe.Wir waren für ein paar Tage zum Wandern im Pfälzer Wald. The view from the balcony is terrific and the location is perfect for getting around between Kaiserslautern and Zweibrucken. "We enjoyed our stay, the village is not to small and not to big. Plenty shops and restaurants in the vicinity. The house is old but because of this it is very charming, but if you are used to all the modern luxeries than it is not for you. The beds/matrasses are very good. This is not always the case in rental vacation homes. There is an outside sitting area which is covered, so even when it is raining you can sit ourside. The sauna is also a very nice plus. "Wir haben uns in dem Häuschen auf Anhieb sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und auch der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt. Obwohl die Feriensiedlung relativ groß ist, nimmt man die anderen Häuser kaum war. Landschaftlich ist die Gegend ein Traum mit gut ausgewiesenen Rad- und Wanderwegen. Wir haben die Tage dort sehr genossen und werden bestimmt nochmal wiederkommen."

"Vor Antritt der Reise hat sich Familie Anton schon sehr gut um einen gekümmert. Über Details vor Ort wie eine kleine Informationsmappe die einem zugesendet wurde.Bei Ankunft und Erkundung der Unterkunft fielen und die liebevollen Willkommensgeschenke auf. Unsere Jungs gefiel es auch auf anhieb. Leider betrübte eine Anzahl von Fliegen den Aufenthalt aufgrund eines Standortes am Wald. Damit muss man aber rechnen wenn man so herrlich in der Ruhe seinen Urlaub verbringen möchte als...

"We (family of 4 + dog) have stayed here overnight every year on our way to the south and we love it! Beautiful location (garden, woods, quiet, water feature), yet Zweibrücken’s excellent shopping outlet is just 2 minutes away by car. The rooms are comfortable and our dog was allowed to join us for dinner and breakfast (as an observer). There are two restaurants, but best to reserve a table in advance as the venue is often used for weddings (being a picturesque location). Highly recommended, and we shall return next summer!"

"The staff was great, the room was great. My only wish is that it had a proper stand up enclosed shower. It had a bath tub with a hose and the water goes everywhere. The wonderful part is the the bathroom area has heated floors. Now I have to add this to my own home. Lots of food options nearby. "

"A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous."
