"We had a lovely time at the Birds and Bees Cottage. The property is such a gem, located in one of the most beautiful spots on the island, and Janie is such a gracious host The view was amazing from the gazebo and there was so much to explore on the property, including a fish pond, various kinds of trees and plants and lots of interesting birds. The cottage is beautifully designed with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. We especially enjoyed the two black lab pups that came to see us periodically. The light breeze from the ocean was so refreshing as well. The hiking in the area was fantastic and I felt completely safe venturing out on my own. My favourite was a hike along cliffs between Shirley's Heights and Galleon Beach. The hiking trail starts at the far end of Galleon Beach. Middle Ground hiking trail between Pigeon Beach and Berkeley Fort was beautiful as well, with striking views of the ocean below. Such a beautiful island. There is a small beach at the end of Galleon Beach where you can see sea turtles and was a lovely spot to swim as well."

"A paradisal villa. Absolutely stunning views, even better than the pictures! We always had fresh sea breezes (didn't need to use the aircon at all), and there's plenty of shade for lazing all day long. There's a well-equipped kitchen too. Claire (housekeeper) was always available for any queries, and couldn't have been more helpful. All in all, a magical stay. Highly recommended."
