"The views from our King suite were breathtaking and there were several amenities that were enjoyable such as the pool, multiple spas, and fire pits. For the price, I wouldn't consider these luxurious rooms at all but they were clean and our bed was comfy. Again, at luxury pricing, the continental breakfast was subpar. The place is also kid and pet friendly which is great if you have children or animals. Since we did not, it was a little bothersome to have kids kicking soccer balls against the walls of our hotel building and honestly dogs going to the bathroom on the grass right outside our balcony was pretty gross. I get it- it's Pismo Beach in the summer so it's going to be pricey but I guess I just expected a bit more for my money."

"I love the ocean view from our room. The beach is not crowded although is kind a long walk from the property but its worth it. We weren’t able to check out the pool and the hot tub. The property is kinda crowded a little because of the construction. But it wasnt to bad. We got the new renovated room but the outlet on the other bed is not working. The breakfast was good. The view is amazing its very relaxing and quite. I would love to stay there again."

"We had a last minute booking and were very pleased with the Sandcastle. We ate next door at Vespara but had a better meal that evening closeby, so u was glad we didn’t stay there for the dining. The hotel had everything we needed including a generous front desk that lent us boogie boards and sand toys for our one night stay! Would definitely come back! Very kid friendly but lots for adults, too! Love the fire pits and bar / cafe but they do get occupied quickly! Parking was great!"

"No need for the AC as the weather was overcast, cloudy and cool. Best feature is the location: right on the beach, by the pier, walking distance to all the shops and eateries. Hotel provides beach towels and little kids stuffs. Room was ok, hair on the sink counter and bathroom's wall. can't beat the location though. Would stay again"

Epic 4BR Ranch 4 miles to Beach!

"The Ranch property was beyond anything we could’ve imagined. The pictures when booking were beautiful, but in person was far past what we imagined. I even heard a family member say, “I think this is what Heaven must look like,” as we sat on the patio watching the sunset! It was such a mind trip to be in Pismo at the beach and a few minutes later driving on the property and feeling like we drove so far out of town because all of a sudden we are on a ranch, in the country, surrounded by mountains, trees and a totally different beautiful landscape!! I can’t rave enough about how awesome the house was! It had everything we could’ve needed and more. So many memories were made with our families who all met here from California, Utah, Alaska and Texas. From watching sunsets, playing ping pong, foosball, corn hole, sitting around the fire pit making s’more’s, to the sounds of cheers as we watched The World Cup, and of course the laughter and conversations had as we enjoyed many meals together. It was an epic getaway!! Our host, Megan, was amazing! So accommodating and kind! She made the stay easy and effortless! I would recommend this property to anyone and the family is already asking and hoping that we can go back again in the future!! We LOVED The Ranch!!!"
