The best area to stay in Pian Dei Manzi is directly within the estate itself, as it's a private, expansive property designed for an exclusive and tranquil retreat.

Pian Dei Manzi is a self-contained estate, not a town with distinct neighbourhoods. It offers a collection of beautifully restored villas and lodges, each set within its own private grounds, providing ample space and privacy. The estate is located in the Ligurian hills, surrounded by olive groves and woodlands, offering stunning views of the countryside and the distant sea.

For couples seeking a romantic and secluded escape, the individual lodges dotted across the estate are perfect. They often feature private terraces, fully equipped kitchens, and comfortable living areas, allowing for intimate dinners and peaceful mornings together. The focus here is on quiet relaxation and enjoying the natural beauty of the surroundings.

Families will find the larger villas on the estate particularly well-suited for their needs. These villas provide multiple bedrooms, spacious communal areas, and often come with private swimming pools and extensive gardens, offering plenty of room for children to play.

The best times to visit Pian Dei Manzi are during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.

These periods offer pleasant weather, with warm but not overly hot temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the Ligurian countryside and coast. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer season, allowing for a more relaxed experience at local attractions and restaurants. For those who appreciate outdoor activities like hiking or cycling, these months provide comfortable conditions.

Couples often find these seasons superb for a romantic getaway. The blossoming landscapes in spring or the rich colours of autumn provide a beautiful backdrop for leisurely drives through the hills, enjoying local cuisine, and visiting nearby coastal towns without the summer rush.

Families travelling with children will also appreciate the milder weather, which is more conducive to day trips and outdoor play without the intensity of summer heat.
