"A real gem right on the beach promenade. Rooms were smallish but well laid out and generous and modern bathrooms. Our room had a covered patio that was really nice to enjoy early morning coffee or a pre dinner cocktail. Having a gym onsite was a real plus for us."

"The view from the hotel is outstanding! When we arrived we just sat on the balcony and watched the light change over the bay. Sunday night we had fireworks across the bay that were clearly visible through the full height accordion windows that were open. We opted for the shuttle ride to the ferry for two reasons; the parking in Santa Margherita is limited and meeting someone on the single track road can be a challenge! That said, we never met anyone when we were driving up off the main road. The staff was very attentive and their English is much better than our Italian. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Our balcony room was on the third floor which we would recommend. The room is one of three above the restaurant, each with a balcony. The room is equipped with a split unit and the operation was quiet. We did not really need it in October but it would be a welcome plus in the summer if the wind were not blowing. We would definitely return here!"

Hotel Villa Anita

"This hotel was stunning and we recommend this beautiful hotel. We had a roofbox and outside parking was no issue unlike some other hotels we stayed in on our trip around Europe. The room and building, breakfast and facilities were excellent. The staff we great but we had one issue with the shower and water temperature in the morning which was cold. On querying with the reception I was told the water should be allowed to run and it would get warm, they checked but the water was still “cool” but at the correct temperature. Have both us showered we know that cool (and no way to increase the temp” was correct. This was the only downside of our visit, but we will come back the next time we are in the area as this did not detract from this being one of the best hotels we have stayed in over the many years of travelling."
