Busy Patong, Welcoming Silla Loft

The hotels location was a bit deeper from the beach (haad) by about 1km, than the hotel details. However, the staff were friendly, rooms clean, and the service was kind and welcoming. We were able to get our heads down after 24hr+ of travelling, even allowing us to check in early. In addition, Management were able to help us book a day trip on a private hire taxi which was fantastic to see a few things around Phuket.

One night tops

We booked this as a gap filler because our dates were messed up. There are a few reasons I would not roeccommend Silla and they are: The bed is extremely hard due to the fact that there is no mattress. It’s a plywood board. The shower doesn’t drain fast enough so the bathroom floods every time you take a shower. The room and bathroom didn’t seem like it was cleaned properly after the last guests. Breakfast is pretty basic for the price charged. Almost the same rates as other, more expensive hotels. It’s pretty far from the beach. The photos on Expedia make it seem that it’s close. It’s not. It’s 1.9km Can be noisy as it’s just off the main road coming in to Oatong Beach. It’s basic. Cheap and slightly cheerful. Just what you need if you’re on a budget but still want something decent.

Great hotel but not so great location.

Great hotel, clean and tidy with large rooms, all staff where great. Breakfast is available, (we did not try so can not review). Only down side was road noise which goes through the night. Two older sons had a room on the off road side and said they had no problem with road noise. Is about 15 minute walk down busy road to beach.

Great Value for Price! (Clean & Friendly Staff)

Overall, for the low price, you get your money's worth here. It is clean and the staff is incredibly friendly! We enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

OK location, very uncomfortable, nice staff

PROS: - 15 minute walk to Patong - 7-Eleven, and restaurants are nearby (2-10 minute walking distance). The best one we found the last day called 'Halal Food Patongh', (aircon, comfortable, and food was so delicious). - Wifi was accessible via room we had, fast enough to watch Netflix - Light breakfast in the morning was so convenient (cornflakes, oatmeal, fruit, toast, coffee) - The manager was friendly and spoke great english which was helpful. She even offered to order us a taxi to the airport which was cheaper than estimates on the Grab App. CONS: - Most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on, felt like a small comforter was placed over top of plywood, no bounce/spring system. After a restless night the first day, spoke to hotel management about the bed, they offered us another room with a better mattress, however the electricity didn't work in that room, so they swapped mattresses, this mattress was only slightly better (still had restless nights and a very sore back), but we did sleep a little better. I would never stay here again on vacation unless you're very prepared to be uncomfortable and cranky due to lack of sleep on your holiday. Not the best way to spend your vacation. - Bathroom was a glass room, has a privacy screen but still transparent (could watch my husband showering and see him clearly) OK if you're with your significant other ;) but maybe not great for a family / friends.

Celkový pobyt byl super. Jediné minus bylo se slabým signálem WIFI na pokoji. Dobré WIFI bylo v Lobby a na recepci.

Geräumiges, sauberes Hotel. Freundliches Personal

Das Silla Loft wurde neu umgebaut und liegt ein wenig ausserhalb von Patong. Patong Beach oder Bangla Road sind zu Fuss in ca. 20-30min erreichbar. Die Lage ist gut, wenn auch praktisch direkt an der Hauptstrasse nach Patong (sehr viel Verkehr). Die Zimmer sind bis auf eines sehr ruhig. in Zimmer 101 hört man sehr den Strassenlärm, welcher direkt vor der Schiebetüre ist. In direkter Umgebung gibt es 7eleven und FamilyMart, aber auch Wäschereien, Mopedverleih und einen sehr guten Massagesalon. Ein paar Meter entfernt ist ein Restaurant mit thailändischen Spezialitäten. Ansonsten gibt es keine grossartigen Essensmöglichkeiten. Man findet sofort Taxis oder Moped-Taxis. Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt, das Personal äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück gibt es auch. Keine grosse Auswahl, aber absolut ausreichend (in Thailand ist Frühstück nicht selbstverständlich). Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und geräumig, es fehlt an nichts. Das Bett was eher sehr hart, aber noch erträglich. Ausblick gibt es leider praktisch keinen. Preis/Leistung ist sehr gut.

Modernt och fräscht

Hotellet ligger inte där hotels visar på kartan att det ligger. Utan väldigt långt från stranden. Trevlig personal. Vi hade stopp i toan redan när vi kom och det tog ett dygn att fixa, så vi fick vara utan toa. Det är lätt att ta sig in till bangla road med tuktuk, kostar ca 200bath. Tar ca 10min beroende på trafik.
