Beautiful property that honors nature and tranquility. Most genuine and kind staff! We learned there is a a buffer of 4 hectares to woods that will stay undeveloped to support wildlife and biodiversity. Would return in a heartbeat. Thank you MB staff!

WOW! Five star eco resort. Just an amazing experience. Sea plantation villas were gorgeous. We had such great sea views. Water was so warm and the location is quiet and somewhat secluded. Fabulous range of activities and the food was fresh and exceptional quality. We didn’t leave the resort for the five days we stayed. No need. The staff were amazing and really catered for our vegan needs - remembering these each day without prompting. This truly is a special place for those wanting a sustainable alternative to mainstream resorts. Highly recommend. Small note : might want to bring allergy medication as pollen was a little agitating for us.

Amazing stay
This place is amazing. I stayed here 8 years ago and loved it so was eager to come back and it did not disappoint. The resort and room were beautiful and very evo friendly. The restaurant is also amazing, we had a great dinner and breakfast. The free yoga was also great.

If you want top service with a smile in a relaxing environment - don’t hesitate to book Mango Bay. What a find - yoga , the treatments, the food, the staff all top notch. Very member of staff had a smile and nothing was too much trouble. A little slice of paradise for 4 nights - Bliss!

Mango bay resort was definitely brought me and my boyfriend a whole different experience, the staffs was very welcoming and friendly. They’re prioritizing on customer comfort and making sure us achieve their most enjoyable and relax vacation. There is no doubt that on the rock restaurant has the best view to catch sunset. So make sure you came early for the best sit which is by the water, the restaurant also take reservations but will not warranty for by the water table. Overall I highly recommended this place for a honeymoon or a quiet and relax family trip.

Great Stay
The resort was great, my boyfriend and I had a really nice stay. If your looking for a more quiet and relaxing private bungalow with an outdoor shower/bathroom and enjoy nature this is the place! It’s pretty spread out so there is plenty of beach spots to sit. The food was really good. One out of the two restaurants was closed for construction but was just about finished by the time we left. The beach restaurant that was open had such a big menu though with so many options that it wasn’t a big deal the other restaurant was closed ( enough options to have something different for lunch and dinner for 3 days ) The breakfast was really good as well, had its own separate menu with many nice options to choose from. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall very happy with the resort and would highly recommend to the nature/outdoorsy lovers!

It was very different! i have never stay in a place like, wasn't expecting it to be so open, loved the shower outside!! Missed air conditioning for myself I found it so hot with out it..

This eco property is absolutely gorgeous. The bungalows are fab, we loved the outdoor bathroom and all the little touches like barrels of water to wash your feet. We ate in both restaurants and the food was delicious as were the cocktails and the setting is perfect. Beaches and beach facilities are excellent too.

Excellent food and cocktails. Nice clean beaches. Good breakfast. My husband struggled without air conditioning and with the open style bungalows although it didn’t bother me as much. Missed having a swimming pool.

Wonderful staff, delicious food of all variety, 2 clean beaches with lounge chairs and shade. They have thought of everything you may need (adaptor for phone charging, umbrella, flashlight, bug spray to name a few). Grounds are beautiful and well kept. This is an eco resort so NO plastic, glass water pitchers in your bungalow (filled daily) and bamboo straws!

Amazing place
Just lay back and relax. Amazing staff, friendly, helpful and good English. Wonderful food that comes out looking and tasting superb and quickly. A lovely atmosphere. They bend over backwards to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Taxi service was swift and never a problem. Beach staff so happy and cheerful and beach always cleaned and looking pristine. I had a wonderful experience here and would love to return one day. I stayed for 3 weeks and could have stayed longer.

Peaceful and beautiful bungalow stay at Mango Bay
Had a great time at Mango Bay. The staff was incredible and so helpful and welcoming. The bungalows were so peaceful and the overall space was beautiful. Our first night we got attacked by mosquitos but we told the staff the next day and they provided us with another net for our bed and got us an extra fan. The town of Phu Quoc is very peaceful and quiet, not much going on though. We had bad luck and it rained most of our trip but overall I would stay here again. The food is beautiful but expensive, the inclusive brekkie was the best we had in Vietnam. My favorite part about Mango Bay is how is is an ecofriendly resort and they care about the environment.

Living in nature
Mango Bay doesn't have all of the comforts a big chain luxury hotel would have such as a pool or room service but therein lies its charm. Situated quite a distance away from the city/town (30mins car ride), it very much feels like a self contained resort. There are activities to do but most of the time patrons are lounging on sunbeds. The restaurant is really popular at night and people come from other resorts to eat here. Because the land is so vast, it does feel very serene and secluded for the most part. You do feel that it's a very private space. You don't usually run into many other guests. I loved sleeping to the sound of waves and bathing under the stars to the sound of crickets.

Perfect for a relaxing, rejuvenating holiday with lovely staff, excellent food, and a great bungalow complete with geckos, hammock and a sense of complete escapism. Even though I was there during the rainy season (July) and it did rain for quite a few days, I still had a wonderful time. I highly recommend Mango Bay Resort!

An Island Paradise
As soon as we arrived we were right at ease and well taken care of by the staff. Our rammed earth cabana was was charming and visited by numerous geckos over our stay. Despite being open air, we did not have any issue with insects in our room. The food at the restaurants was mostly superb, although the service could be a touch better. The real star here is Mango Bay's grounds, beaches, and the calm warm waters of the Gulf of Thailand. The flora is well established and due to the low number of guests it feels at times like your own private getaway.

Very rude staff
I witnessed the resort staff be extremely rude with day-trip visitors who temporarily sat on a beach bed (reserved for guests) and were sent away with brutal manners. That was really unpleasant and upsetting for us to witness. I think manners in the hospitality sector should always be at the highest level regardless of whether you are talking to a guest or to a visitor (who might potentially become a guest). Mango Bay is one of the nicest spots to visit in Phu Quoc, therefore there are many tourists invading the resort at daytime despite not being official guests. Of course, this is not an ideal scenario for the management even though it doesn't seem to be unhappy when both bar and restaurant fill up very quickly.

Relaxing fun beach stay.
Eco friendly can mean a bit too rustic for me. Resort picked us up from the airport and checked us in late. Room was dark and outdoor bathroom was dark. They could use some directed spotlighting. Outdoor bathroom took some time to get used to but was fun showering outside. Restaurants were great. Beach staff, the one guy, was helpful and attentive. Tourists from many different countries were there enjoying the clean clear beach, food, spa treatments, and weather. Although it was winter, temps stayed in the 70s to 80s. About the rustic part - I want nicer sheets and towels. Mattress was comfy enough and had a nice veranda with table, hairs, and padded loungers. There was a little bit of nature in the room, a gecko and a spider which was quickly ushered outside with a broom. Mosquitoes were kept at bay with a daily smoke treatment. Only 1 bite,

Perfect location in Ong Lang area situated on the beach. Beautiful bays to swim or snorkel in and we did not miss having a swimming pool at the resort. However we could have used the pool next door but preferred the ocean. There are a variety of good restaurants in walking distance and use of bicycles are available. The two restaurants in the resort are in unbelievable locations overlooking the ocean and the food menu including breakfast is spot on for taste and variety. We stayed in a plantation beach bungalow which was large, had amazing views, comfy and housed everything we needed. The outdoor bathroom space is amazing. Loved our stay here. Very helpful and attentive staff.

Fantastic beach retreat
We spent 3 nights here in a lovely secluded bungalow. the hotel is very well laid out with a peaceful and relaxing vibe. There is daily yoga and a shuttle bus to the town. The bungalow was fantastic and very private, complete with an unusual outdoor bathroom and four poster bed! the restaurants served hivh quality food and cocktails, at a reasonable price. The staff were always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful here, which made our time here mosy enjoyable.
