Lovely rooms, brand new facilities. Super helpful staff. Coffee roasters and restaurants in neighbourhood location but close to Art Gallery. Don’t be put off by tech options. They are optional and fun if you want to set up.

I had a fantastic eight night stay at Roost East Market. My one bedroom apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated, and decked out with a full kitchen and laundry facilities.
The 24/7 reception staff were always friendly and helpful, and I wished I had explored the facilities on the third floor (heated pool, lounge, gym, kitchen with coffee machine) before my last day!
The building is in a great location - located very close to a supermarket, pharmacy, eateries (including Reading Terminal...

Perfect location with absolutely everything you could ever need. We would definitely come back to stay here again. The staff were so lovely and accommodated an early check in for us as well. I can’t fault the Lokal Hotel at all.

The hotel is really good, located in the middle of Temple University, bus connections on either side. The bed is very soft and comfortable, the room is spacious (bathroom is a little small). The aircon is quite old and is sort of unconventional. Breakfast isn’t provided but there is a cafe within the same building. Additionally, if you scan the QR code in your room you’ll find a list of recommendations; very handy. The reception provides complimentary bottles of water, you just have to ask them....
