"Beautiful old building dated 1642 but tastefully restored inside. Lovely rooms, delicious food. Richard is a great host. Will definitely return when we come back to the area."

"The hotel is very tired, but the owners are trying to tidy it up and decorate. The facilities in the bedroom were poor, nowhere to hang clothes, curtains don't close tv didn't work. Having said that, it is only rated a 2 star and I will certainly stay again both for the quirkiness and the lovely staff."
