Regua
Regua is not such a pretty town as Pinhão but very good museum. Hotel is functional and good location

Good location, easy access to many good restaurants and handy to find when entering city. Hydro to several rooms went out in the middle of the night, 1 am, still off by 10 am, front desk not concerned. Paid an extra 6 euros for parking, limited space, cramped conditions underneath building. Lucky we were driving a small car. Breakfast okay, a bit of fresh fruit would have been nice

this hotel was much better than we expected - it is perfectly situated near the train station and in easy walk of the beautiful river Douro. The room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was good, the staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be staying again in the future - thank you - a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Well located budget hotel, room was clean and staff friendly and breakfast was Ok. The bathroom had a very strong chemical smell (paint or glue) which was almost unbearable, this made the whole room smell very unpleasant. The heating was inadequate and the room became pretty cold during the night. Maybe I was unlucky with the smell and caught them during renovations in the off season.

Beautiful location in the Duoro Valley.
Great location beside train stn and river walk. Friendly staff. Moderate breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Good value for price paid.

Clean, basic hotel
Check-in was quick. Room was clean and basic. Bed firm. Breakfast room was very busy with a tour group staying at the hotel but fairly good selection. Parking in garage was available when we arrived but anyone with mobility issues would have a difficult time walking up a very steep incline to exit. There is no elevator from the parkade or in the hotel. If you are looking for a bsic, clean room this fits the bill.

Great budget stop in Douro country
A quick stop in the Douro valley. This hotel fitted the requirements specially with its more than reasonable price. Good breakfast included.

Convenient location

Old hotel with bored staff
For a 2* hotel we can't expect much. Well situated (quite central) but without parking, without elevator, without any offer for breakfast, without english speaking staff. But rather clean rooms, at least. We just spent a night there (we were travelling further) and it was enough. As I understand the hotel was downgraded from 3* to 2* and we might understand why. Overall it seems an old hotel with bored staff struggling to survive.

Nice hotel
This hotel has no lift so we have to struggle a bit to bring our luggage up the stairs. The hotel's underground car park is a short walk away from the hotel, so we had to bring our luggage out and put them at the reception area before driving to park the car. The room is cosy and clean. The staff is helpful. The is some problem with the wifi in the room. There were shops and restaurant nearby, very convenient.

OK hotel
I was glad we were on the first floor as I was astonished to discover the 9 storey hotel had no lift. I should have spotted this. The breakfast was rather indifferent but no complaints about the hotel. Parking is possible in the street behind the hotel.

The hotel was a couple of stars, but it had great quality for being two stars. The people were very helpful, which is very important in such a small city. The location was great, right next to the train station. The only complaint that I have was that the owner seem very eager to upsale us on various activities in the city. For example, I wanted to take the 10 euro boat ride up the river, but the owner tried to convince me to do the 85 euro package, and I don't like to be hassled.

La posizione è ottima: a due passi dalla stazione e dall'imbarco fluviale. Visto da fuori l'edificio non fa una buona impressione ma all'interno l'hotel è pulito e ben mantenuto. Arredamento basico. Prezzo adeguato.
