"My husband and I loved the location of this hotel. It is just a few steps from excellent restaurants, shops, and coffee shops. To call it a hotel seems wrong because while it appears to be a remodeled hotel with outside doors opening to the parking lot, it is precious and it is very well done with special touches that create a true boutique stay. There is plenty of outdoor seating, the rooms are just the right size for 2 adults, everything was clean, and the staff are so helpful and kind. It is right on Carteret Street, so the traffic going to and from the bridge can be bothersome. However, we did not mind it at all and barely noticed it. We will definitely be back! "

It felt like our own private slice of paradise.The house itself is immaculate and thoughtfully designed for both comfort and relaxation. "It was slightly smaller than expected. Not much room to move inside. They view is absolutely beautiful. It is back off the road a ways, and a very bumpy dirt road to get to it, but we did enjoy it. Works well for just a one night stay."
