"Very nice hotel for an overnight trip to Salem. Right near the water and walkable to most Salem attractions. The Bar and Restaurant have great food and drinks."
"Third time staying here, and just love the historic charm and easy access to all things in Salem. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were very communicative and helpful with any questions we had."
"From reservations to check-out, the process was simple and well communicated. Parking was easy (and free). The front door was confusing at first, but once we figured out how to use the old latch-sysyem (probably original to the Inn, which was cool) it was easy. Everything was very clean, we could tour the lower part of the house at our leisure, and our room was beautiful. We loved escaping the mainstream feel of a modern hotel and experiencing the historic atmosphere that we got from Daniel's Inn. It is located in a quiet area, but from its location, there was only a short walk to everything we wanted to do. We will definitely be staying at this Inn again so we can see the other themed rooms!"
"I was pleasantly surprised at how adorable this place was! It had a bedroom attached to a living room area that had a mini fridge, sink, couch and table. You can tell it’s been renovated and there is work being done nearby of an additional rooms. The beds are super comfy and I appreciated all of the touches they did to make this place boutique~e and cute. Would stay there again."
"They need to give up the non-contact, mobile key situation. Really made life difficult. Not everyone has an IPhone or might even have too low a battery. Should use key cards with a long heavy tassel or wooden tag so guests are reminded to return the key card. Better anyway to have an actual key card in case of fire and/or loss of power and/or cell service goes on the blink."
"Everyone was so friendly, kind, and obviously knowledgeable about the area. They gave us great recommendations for other places around town to see, and we had an amazing time.
The food at The Counter was so so good! Everything felt cozy but had a quiet luxury to it. We loved everything on our stay! We will definitely be back again soon!!"
