"Nice and clean room. Private porch in the back for the morning coffee or evening wine. 3 minutes walk to the beach to see the sunrise (weather permitting). Pizza trailer arrives at around 5 pm. We were pleased with everything except the heating that was blowing directly on the bed. A bit uncomfortable."

"Oasis Motel, its management and staff are top class! We stayed for 7 nights and cannot fault our experience. The premise and rooms are fastidiously clean and well presented, the attention to detail was outstanding. We felt the hospitality and were able to totally relax - The awesome pool and spa, fantastic whanau welcome and being a stones throw away from Wainui beach made for a magic week. "The motelier (Stephen) was very friendly and made us feel very welcome and at home, as soon as we arrived. If you have been driving all day, from Wellington to Gisborne, the last thing that you need is a non-friendly person to meet you, but Stephen was totally awesome/wonderful. The motel was very quiet too. The beds were comfortable. The swimming pool was refreshing. I will stay at this motel again."
