We paid for a better room and while bigger in size it was very basic and old fashioned and disappointing for the money paid. No fridge , water or tea and coffee facilities in the room. "Chutneys restaurant was disappointing for the type of hotel. A slightly glorified pub with slow, surly service and a very mediocre meal. Sorry. Eat somewhere else. Rooftop bar with funky music if you like that sort of thing."

"It’s one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere and I liked the ambiance of the hotel along with spaciousness of the suite we stayed at, it was very nicely designed also but unfortunately the suite had a sewage smell in it! The moment we entered the suite the smell was there and nothing could be done about it since we only had room for one night & hotel was completely booked! "
