"A lovely hotel in a beautifully renovated building. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, plenty of choice & delicious. The rooftop terraces/bar/pool area were very smart. Unfortunately the water in the pool was too cold for me! The Elba restaurant (where breakfast is served) was ideal for evening meals too & we visited the gelateria next door a number of times too. There is a small sandy beach just a short walk from the hotel with another couple of nice restaurants in close proximity. The only slight negative point was that the Coastal road runs quite close to the hotel which made it a little noisy at times especially when motorbikes go past. It did mean though that there were plenty of buses going past the door which made exploring the island very easy! "

"We stayed for two weeks. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Food was great restaurant staff were outstanding. The rooms were very nice and cleaned regularly, but the corridors were tired looking and not so clean. The music from the private beach club was too loud. It was difficult to relax and enjoy the outdoor areas of the 4* hotel with the music thudding. "

"Perfect location in San Julian. Building is getting old, but everything works fine. I had few issues with the internet but the staff was quick to bring me solutions, which I really appreciated. Be ware of some house maid who enters your room even when the "do not disturb" sign is at the door."
