"I left and did not stay at this hotel because it seemed dirty, run-down, old, and unsafe. The carpets in the hallways were very dirty. The room has a musty stench. It was so close to the freeway that I could hear all the traffic inside my room. It did not look nice from the outside. It should have been priced much lower."

"Very well appointed hotel, beautiful lobby and rooftop bar and pool. Staff is excellent, very helpful. Our room was nice, but the window sills, blinds, and bedside table surfaces were very dusty. Even when they came and made the bed and refreshed towels, they never dusted any surfaces. Weird. Good location for downtown LA, still a major homeless problem. Expect to see a lot of rundown areas There’s a Whole Foods next door, a Starbucks, and sweetgreen on the same street as well. We stayed 5 nights and used the valet for our car- in and out no problem, prompt service. The valet guys were great. Also a unique store connected to the lobby selling tote bags, shirts, sweatshirts and the like with a cool movie and tv series quotes theme “These gays. They’re trying to kill me” I’d recommend!"

"(1) Bathtub looked dirty. Was afraid to use before bed. Nice receptionist Betty said tub was scheduled for refinishing (sanding). (2) Receptionist Betty said Stains on carpet were due to cleaning fluid, would change in the coming weeks. (3) Two of the four pillows on my bed had pillowcases that felt like recycled plastic. (4) no charger plug outlets by bed. (5) Room stuffy, needed air."

"I was very disappointed in this hotel. It was worn out and dirty. The sink had a sour smell, and the carpets were worn out. It was equal to a cheap motel. There is a $40/day parking fee, which you learn only when checking in. For the extra charge for parking, I could have stayed at a better/upgraded hotel like the Hyatt. Very sad."
