"I loved our stay. The only reason we gave the resort four stars instead of five is because the room simple but clean. The hotel is rustic, but if you want to see wildlife, there is nothing better. Troops of Howler monkeys fill the trees above. Birds are continually chattering and screeching to one another. Just sitting at the restaurant, you will see more animals than walking for hours at the national park The food at the restaurant was excellent. I particularly enjoyed their award-winning pizza. I would definitely go back again. Great value for the experience."

They truly make you feel special throughout your stay and returning the beautiful property every day makes it feels as though you're coming home. The property grounds are beautiful and the restaurant patio is to die for. Not spending every single morning sipping coffee from that restaurant patio would be a mistake. Bernice is a fabulous person and she runs this resort with great care and attention, while also respecting people’s quiet and solitude. Perfect for couples and those seeking a high end experience at a very respectable price. Spa, wellness center and hiking trails all onsite. "
