El Mirador was an excellent place to stay. The staff were excellent and the cabin was very nice and well stocked (full kitchen). The grounds are beautiful! It is a bit out of the way and isolated from other attractions but there are some restaurants that deliver from the town and it’s not too far of a drive from other destinations, if you have your own transportation (not walkable). All in all, a great stay. Would stay again.
I stayed 2 nights in one of the "cabins" (my unit was not actually detached so a little odd to call it a cabin but whatever), not one of the domes. It was spacious (travelled solo and was in a room with apace for 5) and the views were amazing from the room and the property. I saw a Toucan fly by my first evening and the night sounds of the surrounding jungle were fabulous.
Kitchenette was adequate - had a microwave, mini fridge, hot plate, coffee maker, and basic tableware.
Road to access is paved except the final 50 yards and in good shape overall, it is very narrow, steep, and windy. The nearest restaurant is about a mile away.
Downsides: No hot water or A/C (happily high enough up that it did cool off enough at night that I slept pretty well) and I was pretty hot by the time I got there each day so the cool shower wasn't bad either.
Just renovated by the new owners, the hotel is lovely and peaceful. Pool, bar and restaurant make it easy to relax and lounge. The location is an easy drive to beautiful Carrillo Beach and downtown Samara. Wonderful friendly staff that is super attentive. Landscaping is really beautiful too.
Cute idea, just poorly executed!
The domo has no actual floor its just some boards with bamboo between some of the larger gaps, so the dome is filled with spiders, crickets, ants and other bugs. Booking this type of accomodation we expected some bugs but this was hundreds of bugs, and being stung and biten all night, so we got very little actual sleep.
Also when we got there the dome looked cute but hadn't actually been cleaned properly, stains on the pillow cases and sheets.
Very dissappinting.
We loved this little place. The owner was so friendly and helpful. The view was amazing! Our only regret was that we should have stayed another night! lol And the sunset was breathtaking!

Vladi, Flori and Leidi were really nice. Place is great. Really appreciated you guys.
Super accueil !
