"Clean, no-frills room! Heated pool, hot tub, and sauna were nice perks! I just recommend getting to breakfast early as you might need to wait in line a bit for the coffee machine, for my fellow caffeine hounds. Great location with a funky hot dog/ice cream place across the street (Lucy's) and just blocks from the ocean. I plan to return!"

"I planned a surprise overnight getaway for my hubby. I was very excited about this place but that feeling quickly fizzled. I was actually disappointed in this very spacious cottage. The bed was lumpy and the linen was dingy. The caulking in the bathroom looked like it had been applied by a 5 year old. We never could get the ac to kick on. Paid way too much for this sub par room/cottage. "

"Olympia Lodge was a great stay for our Monterey weekend trip. Property was clean and lobby was nice. Limited hours due to staffing shortages so i would recommend checking in before 6pm. Breakfast was provided and the double queen room was spacious and even had a patio. Loved the spacious closet as well! Only thing was no hand soap provided, walls are thin, and parking was limited. There is free street parking on the street of where the hotel is located so it worked out. There is even a ice cream shop next to the hotel. Overall i would recommend this hotel if you want to be super close by the aquarium, fishermans wharf, beaches and Carmel, CA +17-mile drive. "
