"The property is ok but for what looks like a luxury hotel to charge extra for two people in one room is not good business. I can understand smaller hotels that get less revenue to charge this but this place portrays itself as luxurious. In reality there were many flies in the dining area, I believe there were mosquitos in the room and bed as I was itchy all night and the pool and amenities were average at best. There are better places in Masaki to stay in my opinion. "

"I would 100 % not go here again. The service is terrible. Upon arrival, we did not get any service or information. No smile, no welcome. Just a very complicated and SLOW process to check in. The people in the reception don't speak English, mostly Swahili. But even without English it is possible to smile and be welcoming. We just got the key to the room, no information about wifi, breakfast or facilities. The hotel also claimed my pre-payment was declined, and I had to call to hotels.com to...

"Outstandingly peaceful, true to name (Amani = peace). Stunning beach. Lovely chalets. Perfect pool. Fabulous fruity breakfast. Hidden gem as i was only guest for 3 whole days the week before Christmas. Restaurant and room staff excellent and noce to see trainees. Front desk distinctly uninspired and unhelpful but that was only minor gap in otherwise perfectly peaceful stay. "
