"The room was very clean and had everything we needed ( except a hairdryer). Staff were lovely and friendly. Nice atmosphere! We would not hesitate to stay here again as the location was also close to family and a leisurely bus ride into Town. (Princes St etc...). "

"Yes, the room was very tidy, warm and comfortable, the staff were great, parking was easy, we never had breakfast we normally just have coffee first thing, dinner in the small dining room was good with good service, we have been there before, overall, everything on the doorstep, nice garden area and nice views of river and surroundings. Yes we will be back."

"This is the best hotel and experience i have stayed at we couldn't of asked for more. I arranged with Emma the manager to help me plan a proposal during our stay and she could not of been more helpful, along with all the other staff who were so kind to us on the day. The hotel and room itself were absolutely stunning and immediately gave you the wow feeling when walking in, its something both of us will never forget! I cannot thank everyone at The Scott for there help and kindness during our stay, we are already looking to come back next year as i dont think we could come to Edinburgh and not stay here again! It is levels above the standard of hotels you get in the city and i cant recommend it enough - Thank you"

"Receptionist was charming, chatty and helpful despite it being 9pm when we arrived. Attention to the decor in the corridors plus the festive additions made the hotel seem very welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful, varied, tasty and unhurried. "
