"We love staying at Doubletree. The hotel is clean and comfortable especially the bed. This is our second stay in Ottawa. Sadly both years the hotel fridge didn’t work. The sink in our bathroom filled up with a slow drain. We didn’t place a complaint but found this frustrating. Hopefully the third time will be a charm because the location and breakfast is also excellent"

"Staff are lovely and it’s right downtown, big space. Suites have everything you need. CONs - mostly minor - Walls are thin and doors slam (fire doors). Beds are a little hard. Shower door didn’t stay closed and stalls are small (elbows touch walls when washing hair). Would stay again though"

"Our rooms were very clean and well-maintained. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Love the tea and hot water in the lobby! The self-serve breakfast was good, not excellent, but decent - sausages, egg round “pucks”, tater tots, toast and waffle options, apples and oranges, cereal and yogurt, beverages. The workout facility is very small, only has one loud treadmill, a free weight (dumbbell) tree, a mat and an inclinable bench. The room is only big enough for one person, maybe 2 awkwardly. The room feels old and forgotten. All in all I enjoyed my stay very much and would definitely stay here again."

"Few minor issues: one plug in room did not work, phone by bed did not work but there was a second phone, and black out curtain did not go all the way over. Hotel comped parking for inconvenice. Very comfortable bed. Room very clean, free Aquafina water in fridge. I highly recommend hotel."
