Property was dated but the price was affordable for Oslo and the centrality of location. Staff was friendly. Walking distance to pretty much all the city centre sights. Close to shopping. Easy access to public transportation.

Hotel was central - 10 mins walk to central train station. Staff was friendly. The main stairs and hallway doesn't look the best and could do with a little maintenance. However, the room (twin) was clean and spacious and had an portable air con unit which kept the room cool. So I would be fine staying again. Can buy coffee and pastries at reception. Metro station is 10 metres away. Note that if leaving luggage after checkout, luggage is not tagged and when retrieving, you or another guest retrieving can take or look into other luggages so advisable not to have anything you want to lose. I only had sweaty clothes so was fine.

This is a basic budget style hotel without AC or much in the way of amenities. This is offset by friendly staff and an unbeatable location in the heart of Oslo where every major destination is walkable to. It is close to the rail and bus station, royal palace and the trendy shopping area. It is noisy as street cars pass in front but if you are tired from the days and close your windows you might not notice.
