"Our 2nd time staying here and we love the onsens here! The dinner buffet was delicious and so many food choices! The staff are friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the free ice cream and drinks and snacks that were offered everyday. Very convenient access to Yunnessan Waterpark. Lots of entertainment and kid friendly activities. We can't wait to come back again!"

"The facility was the definition of Zen! Staff was friendly and attentive. The facility was minimalistic but beautiful! Welcome tea host and bartender DAVID, made our stay that much more memorable. If you decide to stay here, I highly recommend you visit the 8th floor in the evening for some libations and say hi to David for us!"

"Really beautiful facility overlooking Lake Ashie. A two minute walk from the hotel to the Archie Lake boat excursion,and the cable car excursion, which is definitely not to be missed. . But the best part is extremely helpful staff throughout the facility, who are fluent in English, very pleasant. I go out of their way to be helpful. Definitely a very nice place very nice place to stay. We would definitely come back again."

"Clean, convenient location to boat cruise and bus top, with immediate walk / view of the lake! Lovely personal hot tub. Make sure you are okay with either a bit of travel or pre ordering dinner though! Only one restaurant in town open for dinner in the area"

"The rooms at Excellency Floors are spacious with magnificent ocean views and kaiseki dinner & buffet breakfast which included are beyond my expectations. All the onsens i tried during my stay especially the ones in the private rooms are like a retreat experience that can cleanse the mind, body and soul. Highly recommended for couples & family trips."

"We booked none smoking room, however the room we got was terrible with smoke smell. We opened window for catching fresh air but 2 hours later on second evening there were a chemical smell coming in from open window…… The room has very poor noise/voice barriers. Stepping sounds, talking, snoring, and even those Japaneses (95% travellers speak Japanese) farting sounds on hallway you heard every night."
