"Fillippo made our stay in Tivoli so much more than you would get in an ordinary hotel. He gave us restaurant suggestions and suggestions on what to visit in Tivoli, including the times of day when sights are open. The room was recently remodeled, but in an old building that had been in his family for generations. Like many old Italian village homes, there is no lift, and there are stairs. Please remember to call or email Fillippo a day or two before your arrival so that he can be there when you arrive and you will be well cared for. Fillippo was a highlight of our trip. "

"The house is really unique, spacious and well equipped. The kitchen area and garden have a rustic charm while the other levels reflect the local roman heritage with marble and frescoes galore. The house is very large and in a quiet neighbourhood with spectacular views over the surrounding hills. En suites are small but practical. On road parking is plentiful. Kitchen equipment is generous if a bit mix and match. TV and white goods all work well though wifi is a bit slow. Had a wonderful few days and within 45 mins by car of central Rome."
