"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool was clean, breakfast buffet was over priced for what it offered. Breakfast menu as also too high. I usually stay at Hampton , little newer and buffet is plentiful and at no cost to guests. Thank you."

"I paid 1058.00 hoping to enjoy a quiet getaway. The hotel is nice and close to everything, at least it seems. I had ants all over the balcony which I did not realize until attacked. There were never enough towels in the bathroom and staff was rude when I requested more. The hot tub didn’t work properly and the young man at the desk (not the black one) had an entire attitude when queried about it. Worst of all, It appeared someone tried to break into my room that Sat evening. I told staff and she said with a poor attitude I’ll send maintenance (they broke the lock off the door, I could have been kidnapped) then hung up the phone abruptly. Upon checking out I tell the nice gentleman in the front about my experience and he apologized and said he would give me points to make up for the stay. He did give me 1000 points, which equates to 12.50. I will never stay here again and if you value your life, you may want to seek other options as well. "

"When you say pet friendly and i received multiple calls because other guests complained. After 830 am and we were with them regularly. The other guests should not be by guests with pets or stay at a non pet friendly hotel. Also the only access to beach is by shuttle or driving. And breakfast was not stayed correctly we needed a breakfast coupon. Falsely advertised. The only place for a pet is a small pice of grass. Not a beach for pets."

"We really loved our stay at The Tides. You can’t beat the location, walking right onto the beach, and every window has a view. Parking was easy. There are private chair rentals right in front of the hotel ($45/day for 2 chairs & an umbrella). Our room with 2 queen beds was amply big, as was the washroom. And a good gym too. We would definitely recommend."

"Only complaint is the outdoor music could be heard all night long. Faint but could hear. "
